write LabView measurement file

Hello

I am traing to save s signal with the help of WRITE LABVIEW measurement fiel. How do I limit the file size? I want a file of 2 Mb, but I only recive a file of 21 kB. I also tried with Open/replace/create , write, close functions, but also don't know how to make the limit ( 2Mb)

If someone knows please help.

Hi Boris,

When you double click on the "Write to LabVIEW Measurement File.vi" a configuration window appears. In this window one of the options you can select is "Save to series of files (multiple files)". Once this option is selected, you can click the "Settings..." button and another window appears. Under the "File Termination" area you can specify when the VI ends one measurement file and starts another. One of the ways to determine when this should happen is based on file size in kiloBytes.

Once this file size has been reached, the VI will stop the current file and create a new file with the name parameters you specify.
