Hello,
I found a serious bug when modifying the ATTR_TEXT_CHARACTER_SET attribute both in code and on UIR.
Modifying the ATTR_TEXT_CHARACTER_SET attribute in a float ring sets all the values of the entries to 0.
This only happens with Float rings.
I use Labwindows\CVI 2020.
Is there a way to fix this? How can I report this bug?
Ciao

It seems this is not happening on CVI 2017 with runtime 2017, at least while editing .UIR files.
Which version of 2020 are you running? I see a few patches have been released both for the IDE and the runtime: maybe updating your software may fix the problem (although no bugs are listed searching the known issues list by "ring" keyword).

Ciao Roberto,
This is the version of CVI I use. I think I've installed the latest version. NI Package Manager says my system is up to date.
Does this error appear to you?
A short video is also attached.
P.S. Also in LabWindows\CVI 2019 the error not happening
Thanks

I reported the bug to tech support and a BUG report was created (#3200082).
but he says that "it's unlikely that this particular BUG will be addressed in any future updates, if there are any."
