I am developing drivers for our PXI modules, and up until now have been using LabWindows/CVI 7.0. Yesterday I upgraded to LabWindows/CVI 8.0, and upon attempting to create a Distribution Kit from the CVI Build | Distributions menu, I noticed that it supports only Windows 2000 and XP.
Do the PXI Systems Alliance, VISA and VXIPnP specifications still require support for Windows NT (and indeed 98)? I am concerned that by upgrading to 8.0 I will not be complying with the various PXI/VISA/VXIPnP specs for our drivers (which are delivered to customers with our PXI modules).
Can anyone clarify the situation with regard to support of the various Windows Operating Systems for VISA PXI drivers?
