CVI5.5 - Problems installing ComponentWorks++

Hello,

I'm using Visual Studio C++ 6.0 and I would like to install ComponentWorks++
on my computer. But it fails!!!

ReadMe says, that VC6.0 + Service Pack 3 is required.

I have VC5.0 (to maintain older projects) and VC6.0 with service pack 4
installed.

When installing ComponentWorks++ I get an error message like "VC6.0 plus
service pack 3 or higher is required!"

Does anybody know how to avoid this error? I guess it's because of the VC5.0
installition.

Thank you for your help!

Microsoft decided to change the way service packs updated the registry in
service pack 4. We were unable to prepare for that, so the installer doesn't
detect service pack 4 properly. This is easy to remedy and is documented
in our Knowledgebase here: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/3efedde4322fef19862567740067f3cc/862567530005f09f8625690e007ae8d8?OpenDocument
