I created an application based on Excel Report Demo, but I'm having problems to run it in Windows XP, I tried in Vista and Windows 7 and it runs perfect, I have problems only with XP.
Somebody know something about why it doesn't work in XP?
When I tried to use the Excel2000 project I had to install the Excell activeX instrument function panel (.fp) manually. (on each machine) a bit of an overhead issue sense I was replacing lab machines quite often. That is the only thing I remember on the Excell2000 project.
I have used Excel interface both in XP and Win7 without problems. Keep in mind that starter editions of Microsoft products do not include the ActiveX interface: for this reason CVI can interact only with full versions of Excel and Word. Check which product version you have installed on the XP machine.
