Is there a way to create your own custom gauges?

For example I'd like to show a danger zones on a gauge using a different color.

Hi,

You can use the canvas control to create your custom graphic controls and then program it using an instrument driver. There are a couple custom control examples available to you already, such as the tab panel control (toolslib\custctrl\easytab.fp) and the OpenGL 3D graph (toolslib\custctrl\cviogl.fp). There is source code available for you to take a look and see how they were created. Another option would be to use ActiveX Controls that you have already developed in VB or another environment. Just add these to the custom controls section as preconfigured ActiveX controls.
