NiApp and DialogMetaFont changes its outlook under some windows OS using Labwindows CVI 6. How can I prevent it?

I create a distribution kit and then install my software on computers. The fonts displayed on panels are not the same as I selected them on uir-s. Is it a bug? How can I correct it? Thanks.

Hello

The application font should just map to the the arial font on your system. This is to ensure that if you are using the same application across different systems, that all of the GUI's should look the same, since they are all accessing the same font all the way thru. How are they looking different? And are these pc's with the same os? could you attach a snapshot of the problem?

To see where you can set the values of the default fonts, check out pg 6 of 203 of the Measurement Studio LabWindows/CVI User Manual

Thanks

Hi Bilal,

Thank you for your response. I thought the same whatever you wrote in your answer but it does not seem to be the case.
On some PCs the NIapp font and the NIdialog font change their size and turn into a different font regardless of a Windows based OS. The OS can be Win95 through XP.
The new weird fontset is always bigger therefore it creates a big mess on the screen when the labels wrap around or get clipped. I am going to try to provide a screen shot as soon as I can get one from our Japanese client.
Initially I suspected the settings at the Windows Appearance property but no change.

On the other hand, there must be something with the NIapp fontset. When my company upgraded our Labwindows CVI Ver.whatever to Ver.6 and I compiled this particula
r software, the letter "W" did not show up using NIapp fontset on every PC. I had a graph with a Text message on the top of it and all the "W"-s were missing. Other letters were OK. Then I changed the NIapp fontset to Arial and since then everything is visible.
I have some other good storries too like these above but first I really would like to solve the font mistery.

Thank you,
