Hi to all

I am working on CAN. For this, I have got PCIMCIA adaptor on my Desktop. So far, everything is OK. But, the CAN card is NOT being detected on my desktop.

I am working on Windows XP. Is there anything related to this. Pls do suggest, if anyone has experienced similar problem earllier. Pls make sure you post your reply at the earliest. Thanks in advance.

Hi Anil,

Does this pcmcia card work in a laptop? Are you able to have other cards work in this pcmcia coverter? You may be having problems with the adapter.

Thanks for the reply. But, the adaptor cum CAN card is straight away working on Laptop. And also on other desktops with Win 98/2000. As far as we have observed, the adaptor is working well and so is the CAN card.

Let us know what you find out. With Win 2K you should see fewer problems with this setup.

Good Luck!

Hi.

FYI:

I clicked on the "PCMCIA Homepage" link on the Knowledge Base page, and found it was broken. It should take you here.

Colin.

HI all

I have now installed Win XP back. And this time, CAN card is being detected. But, am still getting Interrupt Conflict error, though Win 2k/XP show that there are no conflicts. Have tried alternative resources as well. Am not sure if System configuration has anything to do with it. Anyways, my PC is Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz with 512MB of RAM and right now i am working on Win XP. Anyother alternatives pls.
