Two identical programs on one PC

Solved!
Go to solution
Hello,

I would need to create an installer so that it does not overwrite my existing program.

I have a project in progress and I need to compare it with the building program. I want to have two same programs on my computer that differ little in .uir.

I found some topics here, but somehow I did not work out the result.

Distributions -> Manage Distributions -> New... -> A new .csd is created and copied from the previous .csd settings.

I did this after I created the installation file, installed it and rewritten it again.

Anyone with this experience? does anything else have to tick? or change the name somewhere?
Thank you for your advice

If you change the name of the program or of the installation directory, it won't overwrite.

You might want to check this ancient question I asked. It might be what you need.
