Hello,
Today I have uninstalled CVI2013 SP1, i.e., all NI software except the Update service, see Fig. 1 below. However, looking at the files and directories left after de-installation I am, hm, disappointed... Why is so much left over, see Fig.2 below...?
Should I clean it manually / is it safe/recommended to clean it manually?

Fig.2: Everything? Well, not really... why are these directories not cleaned and removed during de-installation? I don't think they are needed for the update service...

Hi Wolfgang,
you can use the msiblast registry cleaner to remove the remaining files.
msiblast can be downloaded from several sources on the web.

Some additional information:
After de-installing NI Update Service the number of files has decreased remarkably (but still is not zero), see below.
It appears that patches are not de-installed with the product but with Update Service, e.g. for CVI the patch f1...
