Hi Everyone,
I'm getting this very frustrating "Unrecoverable Internal Error at 001B:....." message when simply trying to open CVI. I first noticed this after trying to open up a project file. Since no changes had been made to the *.prj, I thought perhaps it was corrupt. However, a backed up copy still produced the same error. Right now it seems I can't get any prj file to open/compile code/run. After searching this forum it seems like this could arise from a variety of problems. I'm currently using LabWindows/CVI 4.0.1 on Window's XP.
So I can't pin point this problem at all, no changes have been made to any source code or the project files. Everything was compiling/running fine last week (when trying to run any *.prj), however over the weekend, after the computer automatically upgraded to window's sp3, this error started happening. Since I've read online that windows updates can have a lot of compatibility issues with LabWindows, I did a system restore back to sp2. However I still am greeted with this error... so windows might not have been the cause of this issue at all!
Can anyone offer any trouble-shooting advice? I'm sort of at a loss as to what I should try next, since this doesn't seem to be code related at all.
Thanks!

Hi,
From what we have here, the only thing that changed with your system from when CVI was working until now, is the Windows update. Is this correct? If so, I would recommend doing a repair install or completely re-installing CVI after you restored your system back down to SP2. Please do let us know if any other changes were made from the time this was working to now aside from the system update.
