binding database data to a table control

I am building an application that will display the database data to a table control on a UIR panel.  I want to ask if there a way that I can bind the recordset, a SQL statement, or a map, directly to the table control?!  Or, I have to populate the table control manually?!  Or, maybe there is some other control can bind to the data?!

You will need to manually create cells and then populate, unless anyone else has done it differently, in which case please let us know.
