cvi 2013 (default install) random build failed / succeeded

Hello. After upgrading fron CVI 2012 to 2013 (default install), my projects sometimes fail to build without errors, sometimes they succeed. This happens without changing anything in the project, just by consecutively calling Build->Rebuild menu option. CVI2012 works fine every time.

Hello razvan.ioachim,

Could you provide us with a sample that exhibits this behavior?

Thank you very much,

I am in the same situations.  My projects were started in CVI 2010, and compiled fine in 2012. I upgraded to CVI 2013 and they would not compile anymore.  If I open them again in CVI 2012 they compile fine.

after discussing with NI support, we found out this happens for projects stored on network drives.

I've created a bug report, documenting this issue (424731). It should be fixed soon.

I also have this issue and a similar one.

I have my projects on a network drive.

Sometimes when I get a real build failed I get no error information.  Repeatidly hitting the build button will eventually display errors.

Same problem here.  Moving the project to a local hard drive works fine.  Hopefully there will be a fix soon!
