dos window appears at startup

A dos window appears when a released executable is started. The program starts from C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\conagent.exe

Some otherreleased executable DO NOT have that window.
How can I get rid of this DOS window??

Did you perhaps check on the create terminal application checkbox in the build application dialog box?

Good answer. In the 'Build' drop-down menu under 'Target Settings...' the 'Create Console Application' box was checked.
