It should create /usr/local/natist/ni488.2/bin/gpibexplorer but it only creeats /usr/local/natist I am using ubuntu 12.04LTS on a 64bit machine with linux 3.11.0-19

Hello,
In readme file you can read that these distributions are supported
openSUSE 11.4
openSUSE 12.1
openSUSE 12.2
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Scientific Linux 5
Scientific Linux 6.
And probably you instal it without problems on other rpm distribution from the same period like OpenSuse12.2, for example Mageia 2.
