Communicating with an Allen-Bradley ComapctLogix processor over Ethenet

What are the requirements for communicating between Lookout and an AB CompactLogix PLC?

The communication will be Ethernet to the Compactlogix PLC.

This is an existing application where Lookout communicates to an Automation Direct PLC via Ethernet.

We are adding a new AB Compactlogix PLC to the system.

Lookout doesn't have built-in driver for CompactLogix PLC.

You need to use 3rd party OPC Server, such as RSLinx. Lookout can act as OPC Client.

Does Lookout 5.1 support OPC?

IF it does, then we would need RSLinx OEM, that has OPC.

Yes, Lookout 5.1 has OPC client object to connect OPC server. It's opc 1.0 and 2.0 compliant.
