I have Lookout 6.5 running with Windows 7, the process has been running for about 2 months with no problems, but today the Citadel stopped working!
How could this have happened and what can I do to get it running again?

Zuke,
It is possible (we have this happen regularly...) that the database corrupted. Use MAX to create a new database and archive the old database into it. Reconnect the process to the new database.
Lookout is good software, Citadel is its downfall.

I still can't create a new database or figure out why the Citadel just quit working, I'm installing three other systems just like this, one of them has been running for the same amount of time with no problems. The computers are all the same, the only thing they are running is Lookout, I don't understand how it could just disappear! Still need help !

Uninstall lookout (NI software) and reinstall again.

Mike,
If I do this will I lose my 'process' program? How can I save it? Thanks

Didnt realize there was a response, late getting back to you.
Save your process files outside of the NI progam directory (you should have external backups already right ;)). THey should not be deleted.
Any customizations to the lookout.ini and lookout.sec file may be lost.

Thanks Mike, I went ahead and created another process after I reinstalled Lookout (deleted the other), took several hours, its been running fine! I wanted to make sure I didn't have the same trouble again. What would the best way for me to save this new process to use it again if computer fails?
