Status of 64-bit Lookout release and Windows 7 compatability testing? Testers needed? Note that next version of windows server (2008 R2), will only release in 64-bit versions! I need Lookout to work on these servers!
Cheers,

The general testing if done, if the program works in Vista it works in Win7. Im running lookout in 64-bit machines as we speak with very minor issues, which are posted here.
Does lookout need more than 3.25GB of ram?

What's your current OS on which you have the service error?
If it is Vista 64bit, it is a bug we will fix. Lookout should run on Vista 64bit without any problem.
If it is Windows server 2008 server 64bit or other OS, we would probably like to fix. Actually we have fixed a bug recently which causes problem to the Citadel and other service on windows server 2008 OS. I'm not sure if it is exactly the same one.

All my Lookout servers and clients are now running server 2008. The server OS is simply more stable and reliable plus it allows: 1. Admin of the machine via remote desktop without logging into console or locking the console. 2. Remote control of the console without locking the console on disconnect. These features are all vital in my opinion for a production Lookout machine.
It is way past time for National Instruments to seriously reconsider their lack of official support for server OS's. The mere implied tasking of software such as Lookout just screams SERVER OS.
Please point me to or send me any fixes you have for Lk 6.2 on server 2008, 64-bit Windows, or virtual machines.

I'm trying to run Lookout 5.1 on a Windows 7 Machine. I've tried setting all Applications to XP Compatibility and even changed settings in the Bios hoping that it would fix the issue. However, no matter what I do it just starts up and hangs. Is there any special magic to make Lookout run on Windows 7?
Thanks.
