Lookout with IDL in Ascii protocol

I use Lookout 5.0 to get Ascii data from IDL100-Gantner via RS232. All connection and communication between computer and IDL is ok.

but when I send request telegram , I get no response telegram as well as no alarm and error messages. Anyone has idea about this problem?

Unfortunately I don't know the IDL100-Gantner but you may use the serial data logging feature in Lookout to debug this issue. Here you can find information about how to log serial port data in Lookout.
You may use the log file to find out if the data sent by Lookout doesn't meet the IDL's requirements and adjust your settings accordingly.
