Paging

We have an issue with the paging function.

We use Lookout to monitor temperatures of storage areas. We have 5 different numbers set up and if the alarm temperature is reached, Lookout call each number in sequence after a 30 minute delay. The function works fine except if the alarm is not acknowledged and it has called out to all 5 numbers. It doesn't roll back to the first number and start the call out process over again. Nor does it continue to call if the temperature goes back into acceptable range. Once it goes back into range it stops calling out even if the alarm has not been acknowledged.

I'm sure it is a simple function within the connection for the Pager, but I cannot seem to figure it out.

Can someone please help?

You could connect the data member 'ack' of the $Alarm object to the condition in the way that the alarm is acknowledged by lookout automatically.........

Check also the configuration of alarms, (and filter options) under Alarms menu.

You may try the U.C.ME-OPC software from Control-See Software Solutions, that connects to Lookout via OPC or DDE. Alarms may be sent as text messages (Pager, SMS) or as voice messages to any phone. A fully functional evaluation version may be downloaded at http://www.controlsee.com . In addition you may send a text message to  query or change a tag value remotely.
