I am receiving run time error nicitld5.exe about once per week. My program opens/closes valves every 4 seconds and reads analog data to an excel spreadsheet every 2 seconds. On some occations at 20:54 PM it will cause a data error(20ma instead of 4ma or 12ma) . I am not storing any traces. I have also created the error by opening "historical data" when program is running. Thanks in advance for your help.

The problem is probably in one database.
Open MAX, Historical Data->Citadel 5 Universe, right click on the database and select detach(don't delete it). Then right click on My computer and create a new database in different folder. In Lookout, File->Modify process, uncheck "use default value", and browse the newly created database to use. Then your process will log data or alarm/event to the new database. Let's see if it will crash again.
If the old database is the issue, after you detach it, the crash will disappear.
If you have data in the old database, you can archive them to the new one.
