how do you back up current process

i want to save a copy of my customer's file so that I can make changes/corrections at my office. When i do a save as to a jump drive and try to use this file at my office i get errors and cannot open the file.

What is the proper method to get a copy of all of the required files so that i can make modifications at my offfice and then copy these modified files back to the customer's computer?

Use the windows explorer and do a real "Copy-Paste".

What types of errors?  Make sure you have the same communications drivers.  Same version of Lookout.  I know you can open 5->6, not sure about 6->5.

Lookout 5 cannot open a Lookout 6 file, period.

Lookout 6 can only open a Lookout 5 file by re-compiling using the .lks file.
