One of my clients came up with an interesting problem today.
He has lost the pop-up window associated with a hypertrend curser in Lookout 6.5.
There are 3 hypertrends on this particular screen, 2 work fine when you click the "medallion" on the centre of the upper part of the trend. (the pop-up window appears and shows the values of the trends under the curser bar).
But one trend does not show the pop-up window when you click on the "medallion". The curser bar appears and can be moved around and disappears when he clicks on the stop lights. But there is no pop-up window to show the values.
My take: One of his people has moved the pop-up window completely off screen. Probably the bottom of the screen.
It is apparently not visible at all anywhere on screen even just a little bit.
I have had the client clicking around with the mouse on the lower edge of the screen to see if he can somehow pick it back up and drag it on screen but without any luck.
Question:
How do I get this back on screen for the client!

It occured to me today that the position of the pop-up must be stored on the hard drive somewhere so I checked out the .ini and the .lks file but without seeing anything that might be it.
If I can find where it's stored perhaps I can change it in the file so it comes back on screen - unless it's in binery format.
Anyone know anything about this?
Perhaps the only way out is to instal a monitor with a higher resolution?

I know that if you move popups in edit mode, it retains the last position in one the .l4* files. Not sure on the hypertrend popup.
Good luck
