When I try to acces the trusted ddeshare (Excel) from Lookout, the computer freezes for a couple of seconds. It doesnt seem like there is contact between the two computers, eventhought I'm able to ping between them. When I set up a test DDE local (lookout an excel on same computer) connection to excel everything works perfectly. What kind of port, user accounts etc, computer names etc do I have to have? Excel runs on a standard installation XP pro and Lookout on a Win server 2003.

I have tried to connect with xp to xp too, but I believe its a network problem. Ive decided to upgrade the "serverside" so that I can use OPC instead.
