APT MGMotor ( Where can I find it?)

Hi everyone,

I am trying to create an ActiveX control, but I can't find MGMotor from the list of creatable objects. Do I need to download a driver from the web? which web should I go for?

Cheers

Are you using an ActiveX control - an object on the front panel - or an ActiveX class that you access through Automation Open?  Note that while they look similar on the block diagram, if you have a class with no associated control then you won't see it when you try to place an ActiveX object on the front panel.

Also, be sure to register the ActiveX control before you do anything. You may have to install a driver that does this or you could manually do it as well. Contact the manufacturer to get the appropriate driver. Instructions to manually install are here:

Downloading and installing the 32 bit version of the APT program solved the problem for me. When I had the 64 bit version I ran in to the same problem.

Good luck
