coolrthancoolio,
NI does not make any wireless or infrared cameras. Using the NI-IMAQdx drivers you can communicate with any Direct Show compliant USB camera, any IIDC firewire camera or any standard GigE ethernet camera. You could also use a camera link or analog camera with an NI frame grabber and the NI-IMAQ drivers.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

FLIR's A315 and A615 industrial cameras comply with the GigE Vision and GenICam standards, allowing the cameras to be used with the NI Vision Acquisition Software, see

what about if there are no usb support. I want to use a thermal camera, and use a wireless conection somehow, to make it visible in LabView...
I've seen some videos for the NIDAQ, but this is only usable through usb support. If u have any ideas...
Cheers 🙂
