Can I use grasshopper gras-50S5M camera with NI-IMAQ 1394 ?

Hi,

I am having a similar problem - I am using GRAS-03K2C, the camera is connected to the machine via a Firewire PCI Card.

I cannot see the camera appear in 'Devices & Interfaces' in MAX

Camera works fine with software provided with PGR.

I installed the camera first before installing the Vision Toolbox, could this be a possible problem?

Anyone able to help me out?

Try going to device manager and manually changing the driver associated with the camera to the IMAQdx one.

Hi Eric,

Thanks it was the driver which was conflicting.

I used the 'DriverGUI' provided by PGR to switch it over from a PGR driver to a Microsoft Driver

Once using a Microsoft 1394 driver MAX could see it - and from there changing to a NI driver was straight forward
