Hey Caneta,
There is not currently any Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) toolkit for LabVIEW, though you could design your experiment in LabVIEW and use NI Virtual Instrumentation to capture real data from a real-world experiment and process it per your experiments needs.
I hope this helps 🙂

Hey DJ Dave
Thank 4 the quick response. I am trying to avoid expreimentation - as it it way too expensive. The volumes i am refering to are in the range of 10 000 litres of compresseed air. Simulation will effectively be the motivation behind running such an experiment.I will check out the links and probably use the Equations (fluid dynamics) to create my own "virtual experiment".
Sorry, one more thing - Is there a cool 3D Tank "Indicator" vi in LabView. Also would like the classic "7-segment" display indicator (for integers). I work for a rail company and it would be beneficial to display info in the way they are used to seeing it.
Thanks 😉

A search of the forums on 7 segment provides many hits:
I'm fairly certain a 3D tank indicator exists. An honored forum member, Ben, has done a lot of work in process control graphics (he's into railroading as a hobby).

No'p all i can find is a 2-D Tank indicator, which can be used to indicate one unit i.e. Volume. What i need is a 3-D indicator so that i am able to display Volume (level hieght) AND Pressure (by the colour intensity of the liquid). One way to do this is by using two seperate indicators - i would like to combine this into one Indicator.

Hey Cantera,
The LabVIEW DSC module has 3d controls and indicators, though I think you may be more interested in creating a custom control. I hope this helps 🙂
