Is there a camera file that I can load in to Measurement & Automation Explorer for the Lord DVL1024R camera?

Previously posted to board: Instrument Control (GPIB, Serial, VISA, IVI).

I am trying to get the Lord DVL1024R camera working with the NI 1426 board. The documentation on installing got me as far as starting Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), but there was no camera file listed for any Lord cameras.

I tried quite a few of the other camera files that were supplied, but they all failed with various timeout errors.

Searching the net I found a couple of tantalising articles implying that there is support for this camera/board combination, but I have been unable to get any further then this. I found one ICD file for a different Lord camera (Lord CNL5000S.icd) but this was in an old format and would not load in.

Please could you let me know if there is a camera file for this camera or what I should do next to try getting this camera working.

I also did not find the camera file.  However, you can try generating a camera file with the Camera File Generator.

In case it helps, I happened across the data sheet for the camera as well.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments. I wanted to find out if you any success in generating a camera file for your camera or whether or not you had tried this. 

If I can also ask that you only post once as it can become confusing when there are many different posts. It also means that everyone will be looking at the same post to work from and will probably result in a quicker resolution.

If you can let us know how you have got on, we can see if there are other things we can suggest to you.
