KOBI dsp colour ccd camera and PCI-1408

Hi,

I'm trying to acquire video images from my two ccd cameras using PCI-1408. The camera should works on NTSC or PAL system.

I had a problem acquiring images using MAX...sometimes it's working on one camera but not the other one and most of the times both are not working. It says can't lock on video source. Sometime only blank screen appears.

Can anybody tell me what went wrong?...

Zai,

The problem that you are having might be because you are not syncronizing the cameras. If you goto www.ni.com and type "Multicamera Acquisition" into the search box, there is a really nice document that goes over how to do multicamera acquisition.

Also, if that doesn't work, there is some really nice documentation on the error that you are having. Once again if go to www.ni.com and type "165FA0QQ", you will find a knowledge base that covers the error code that you are encountering.

Thanks a lot.. I did solved the problem by syncronizing the cameras and both my cameras are working now. However I'm now having a different problem on the images. In Disabled StillColor Mode... Camera 1 (channel 1) images are fine but in channel 2 (camera 2).. the images are divided into 4 unequal area (some sort of black cross in the middle). When I select RGB mode I can see that the images from the two cameras are overlaying each other..? The black cross seem to be the images from channel 1 and the rest are from camera 2.... what happened? & how to rectify this?. please help me...
