MAX Explorer NI-IMAQdx Display for DMK 23GP031

I have four DMK 23GP031 camera connected to a computer via PCIEX/4NIC/POE card. When I view these cameras in MAX Explorer I see eight enteries - four for Directshow (with camera icon) bus type and four Ethernet (with network icon) bus type. My questions are:

1. why is MAX Explorer showing the cameras in two groups?

2. what is the difference between the two bus types: Ethernet (with network icon) and Directshow (with camera icon)?

I would guess you have installed some of the drivers from the camera vendor which provide a DirectShow Interface along with the GigE Vision Standard.
