Mightex _ USB camera initialization error

Hi,

I have recently purchased Mightex BCE-B050-US CCD camera.  I am having a hard time getting the LabVIEW to communicate with the camera.  I've already installed the NI IMAQ for USB 1.0 and have also installed the driver for the camera, yet LabVIEW still does not detect the camera.  I wonder if any body can give me some suggestions on this.

Thank you very much,

UConn

I am working with a Mightex camera BCE B013 US. I am trying to connect it to Labview using the Grab with Property Page.vi but it is showing an error message everytime. My Labview version is 8.0. The program works with another Mightex program but it is not working with this one. Help!!!

Hi Mike,

There is nothing to do with your LabVIEW version.

Even we have reported this issue several times to Mightex and they have responded with a positive reply of a Driver patch available in theier website.

Mightex.com.

So, you can better download the same and install the driver again in your PC.

Once the new driver gets installed the IMAQ USB property i.e Grab with property.vi shall def work.

I beleieve this answers your query.

Hi Suneel,

Thanks for the reply. I have downloaded their driver and it still does not work. They are currently working on the problem, so we will see. While we are on the Mightex topic, I was wondering how how would be able to control the integration time of the camera using labview? Are there any special VIs that I need to get?

Hi Suneel,

is there a way for me to control the frame rate of a Mightex camera using a Labview VI?

Hi Mike,

Firstly the Cam should be capable of that FPS

and

secondly it can be done only by accessing the DLL

no built in VI's are available.
