Hi again.

After searching some other threads I came to the conclusion that it could be a OS language problem.

In my case with Win XP pro sp2 dutch installed, the driver doesn't work. After installing Win XP pro sp2 english it works fine!!

Could be a problem with the licenses:

I have licensed:

Vision

Vision asistant

Labview

But i have yellow light in remote panel conection.

Please help me i m a spanish studient, and is necessary for my final degree project.

I have tried with a quik cam express plus and with a Genius VideoCAM NB and in both cases in Vision asistant i see this mesage: The setings for this camera are invalid or something like that, and i cant change the camera settings.

Hola Fernando

Labview 7.1
Ni vision and assistant 7.1.1
NI IMAQ for USB

Debe funcionarte bien
Saludos

I think it might be the problem that Vet Hard mentioned.  There are some programs that only work on one OS language.  I think that the LabVIEW <-> USB interface may need Windows to be English to work correctly.  Could you try it on a computer with an English Windows installation?  If you have one available, that would at least give us mroe data.

Hope that this helps,
Bob Young
