Hi,
I have problems that are regarding the synchronization between the stage motion and the image acquisition.
I would like to synchronize two systems by using the RTSI signal but I think my system is not perfectly synchronized.
Because the position information which is from the linear encoder is always same data but the images are always different at the same position.
I really don't know the reason why. Could help me? I send a powerpoint file that explain my configuration and problem and send my vi file.
I am looking forward from you soon.
Thanks,
Bonghun

Here is my configuration that does not attach.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but it looks like it is doing what you tell it to do. It looks like the trigger is every 130 ms, but that has nothing to do with absolute position.
Are you trying to trigger the camera based on position? Read the encoder based on camera shutter? If you can explain how you want to sychronize the two, it will be easier to understand the problem.

Hi,
The linear encode read the stage position and I would like to take images based on the stage position.
The result shows there is uncertain delay that is not constant value.
Thanks,

If you want to trigger images based on stage position, you need to send trigger pulses from the encoder input at the desired trigger positions and send them over RTSI to trigger your camera. It looks to me like you are doing the opposite.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
I attempted to change to the synchronization based on position value from encoder, but it still has a gap between shutter (Image) and position.
I take the images every 150um position as below.
I am wondering that my first program was to synchronize the camera based on the shutter time which is generated by the RTSI. Are there any possibility reason that comes from my camera setting? I am using Sentech Camera link camera, CL202A.
Thanks,
