Setting Camera Attributes in LabView 8.5 using PCI-1428

Hi,

I'm trying to acquire images from a PULNIX TM 4200CL camera with a PCI-1428 board. I can successfully acquire images. But I find I am unable to set some camera attributes in LabView, especially like "shutter time" or "exposure time" etc. In detail, I can find "Camera Attributes::Exposure Mode" settings in "Measurement & Automation Explorer", however, I fail to find anything refer to this (Camera Attributes) in LabView. I tried IMAQ Property Node, but none of the subselections leads to changing camera attributes like exposure time. How can I deal with this problem, setting camera attributes in LabView?

The specifications of my hardware, software and drivers are as follows:

Frame Grabber Board: National Instruments PCI-1428
Camera: PULNIX 4200CL
LabView 8.5
Thanks,
Eddie

Hello Eddie,

Use the "IMAQ Set Camera Attribute.vi" found in the "Vision and Motion->NI-IMAQ->Camera Control" palette.

Changing camera attributes will unconfigure your IMAQ session.  Currently this will reset "Trigger Each Line" and pulse generation settings.

Thanks,

Ryan F.
