Setting PCI-1408 to aqquire certain frames/sec.

Is there a way to set PCI-1408 to aqquire certain frames/sec from the default 30 frames/sec. Or can I build a virtual instrument to control the sampling rate?

Most analog cameras have a fixed frame rate, which is 30 frames/sec or 25 frames/sec. Usually, you can't change the camera rate unless you are using a digital camera with that feature.

If you want more images per second, you can double the frame rate by acquiring fields instead of frames, assuming you are using an interlaced camera.

If you want to decrease the frames/sec, you can set up IMAQ to only acquire every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. image using an IMAQ Sequence.
