Setup problem with PCI-1424 to an Kodak "Camera"

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear all,

How areyou? I am in a serious trouble in setting up a PCI 1424—Kodak Image Sensorsystem, which is not really a commercial camera, but a image sensor with its diver circuit.

  • ·        FrameGrabber Board: PCI-1424
  • ·        CCDImage Board: KAI-11000 (from Kodak) with Kodak KAI-11002 sensor.
  • ·        TimingGenerator Board: 3E8180 (30MHz) (from Kodak)

I set thehardware in a single channel output and continuous running mode.

All thetiming signals to PCI-1424 (including Line, Pixel, Frame) are measure andseems OK. The output voltage from the image sensor looks also fine.

However, the output image shown in the PC is wrong. Please see attached PDF file for some pictures we took.

Did anyone encounted such problems before? What are the possible causes?

Thanks so much for your help...

This problem has been solved.

The root cause is the wrong type of PCI1424 board.

There are two versions: one for LVDS signals and the other for RS422.

Our imager board supports LVDS but we accidently bought RS422 board.

Thanks
