Stand-alone application of CVS is not startup on Monitor

Hi, my name is Farid. I have built a stand-alone Real-Time Application on my CVS by following the method in ‘RT_Getting_Started.pdf’ file, and I think it is successful (because the ‘startup.rtexe’ file is already created in the startup folder in CVS). I was set the application file as a startup. For you information, I’ve used CVS 1455 as a target, LabView V8.5.1 and Firewire CCD Camera (Sony XCD SX-90).

My problem is, when I restarted my CVS, the startup file that I’ve downloaded to the CVS is not appearing on the monitor. I can saw the CVS reboot until the message ‘Welcome to LabView…’ appear. Then, there is nothing happened. Please help me to solve it. Thanks.

Farid,

Can you give me a little more information on how you set this executable for startup? Are you right-clicking the exe in your Project Explorer and selecting "Set as Startup"? If so, what are you seeing happen before restarting the CVS? Does that exe not run upon restart?

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your reply. Actually I added a 'Grab.vi' file from LabView examples to my RT Target (CVS) by using Project Explorer. Then, I click the Build Specifications under the RT target (CVS). Then, I select New»Real-Time Application and select the Source Files,  then I click OK.
Then, I right-click the build specification name that I've created and I select Build.
Then,  I right-click the build specification name and select Run as startup. Then it ask me to reboot the CVS.

The CVS reboot successfully. I saw it from a monitor that I connected through a VGA port of my CVS. The CVS reboot until a message of 'Welcome to LabView....'. And Then, nothing is happend. I wait about 15 minutes and nothing happend. The startup application is not appear on a monitor that connected to CVS. So, I suspected that the 'Grab.rtexe' file is not run after the CVS is rebooted.
