Hi,
I am new to the Machine Vision field.
I recently acquired a Grasshopper and am fiddling with it via MAX.
However, there seems to be a limitation in terms of the maximum frame rate i can acquire with the grasshopper.
The specs of this camera is
120 fps @ 320x240
60 fps @ 640x480
This is also listed in MAX - the problem is i can never acquire at 120 fps @ 320 x 240 it gives me an error msg "Error 0xBFF69018 Insufficient transfer engine resources"
I am using Vision Assistant 8.5.0 - Build 20070717.
The maximum frame rate i can achieve is
30 fps @ 320x240
7.5 fps @ 640x480
Any idea how i can improve my frame rate?
Regards,
Alpha

As discussed in http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=200&message.id=24146&requireLogin=False
There's a problem with an old version of IMAQdx.
Please try an epdate version of Vision Acquisition from http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/1524/lang/en

Hi Kate,
Thanks for yr reply.
I did see the previous thread, but it was dealing with windows 64bit, Windows 7.
My machine on the other hand is still on WindowsXP.
Will try and update my Vision Acquisition

Hi Kate,
I have installed the package from the link you provided.
I am now running with MAX 4.6 and Vision Acquisition Software Novemeber 2009 (I can see these in my license server)
However, i am still unable to acquire at full FPS from MAX.
