dimension scale bar

Is it possible to add a dimension scale bar to an image acquired by labview? If so, could you direct me on how to acheive this?

By dimension scale bar, do you just mean something that shows a distance and tells you how far that distance is such as we'd see on a map?

If so, are your dimensions known ahead of time?
