At AVT/Prosilica we recommend the Intel Pro/1000 PT Dual Port card.

... works well with both:

(a) two separate GigE Vision cameras, and also with

(b) 2-port LAG (Link Aggregate Group) cameras like the GX series

thanks,

is this the same as 2-port pro/1000 pt pci express server adapter.  does this work with windows 7 and possibly 64 bits?

That above card should likely work with NI's High Performance Driver (and of course 64-bits and Windows 7), assuming it is of a similar revision that we have qualified support for. For guaranteed support, you could also go with NI's PCIe-1435, which is bundled with Vision Acquisition Software and you can get direct support for the hardware from NI.

I use the same NIC with Windows 7 64 Bit (and LV 2009 64Bit) and it works fine with 2 GigE cameras.
