how to use dalsa syder3GigE camera

Hello everyone

Recently i have bought a spyder3GigE camera from Dalsa. But i have no idea how to use it with labview. It uses a ethernet cable to connect to the computer. The DDL file they have been talking eveywhere in the documents does not show any function. Can anyone please help me if you have worked with this camera.

Hello Chauhan,

In order to acquire images from GigE cameras in LabVIEW, you need to use the NI-IMAQdx driver which comes with the Vision Acquisition Software. You can download this software from here: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/fn/p/sb/navsRel/lang/en?q=vision+acquisition+software&x=0&y=0 .

Make sure you get the version that is compatible with your version of LabVIEW. This is a trial version that can be used for 30 days. If you would ike to purchase the software, please contact our sales department at  (888) 280-7645. I hope this helps!
