problem importing Vision Builder AI 2.5 scripts into a second PC

Hi, i have created some inspection scripts and want to open them on a different PC. i have exported the file and imported it onto the 2nd Pc however when i open it there are no template images found by the pattern matching steps.
both pc's are running the same versions of vision builder AI 2.5 and windows 2000. if i open the inspection folder on the new pc i can see all the template files ok.
anyone got any ideas about this?

I don't remember if the template directory used during the inspection run needs to be at the same absolute location, if it needs to be at the same location relative to VBAI, or if it needs to be at the same location relative to the inspection script file. Which ever it is, this could be your problem.

thats what i was thinking, i have checked the locations of the "products" (C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision Builder AI 2.5\Products\) folder and it is in the same place on both pc's.

Stewbert, could you please compare the versions of IMAQ Vision dlls installed on both PCs (in MAX, select My System>>Software>>IMAQ Vision). I suspect your second PC is running older Vision DLLs and can not read the templates learned on PC #1.

thats the problem, thanks for that. IMAQ vision was not installed on the PC. and they do both need the same version. strange that when you install VBAI it does not install IMAQ Vision as it obviously is required!
