No, Vision does not work on a Mac.  It is only available on Windows.

Hello Cees,

To be a little more specific: Both IMAQ vision Development tools (like Vision Builder AI or the Vision Development Module) and the Hardware drivers (like NI-IMAQ or IMAQdx)  are only supported on the Windows platform. Other OSes like MacOS X and Linux are not supported and (as far as I know) there are no plans to do so in the near future.

Vision seems to be a "NoGo" for other platforms than windows. Unfortunately, this means that LabView is a "NoGo" for many applications in live science, which are often dependent on non-windows software.

The more requests and opportunities that we get for this to be supported, the more likely it is to happen sometime in the future. Peronally, I would like nothing more than to see full support for all features between all OSs. I would also recommend becoming a member of our Mac community here: http://decibel.ni.com/content/groups/mac-os-x-users.

I know that there is not the official vison package but is there really no workaround? There bust be a lot of mac users out there who need that kind of stuff.
