I'm trying to collect 50-100 waveforms of 1,000 points each from a photodetector and record the times and voltages using LabVIEW. Is there a way I can collect times for the individual samples and not just the overall waveform time? Exact times are critical for this application.
With the waveform data type, the dt is part of the cluster. As long as you are using hardware timed acquisition, you already have accurate times as part of the data.
