Hi mrorizabal,

With Visual Studio 2010 and Measurement Studio 2010 installed I am able to add a reference to the National Instruments Analysis Enterprise Library for .NET 3.5 which contains the NationalInstruments.Analysis.Math.Roots class.

Which version of the following are you using?

  • Visual Studio
  • Measurement Studio
  • National Instruments Analysis Library (standard, professional, or enterprise)
  • .NET
  • Operating System (32-bit vs 64-bit)
  • Compiler target (32-bit vs 64-bit)
  • Language (C#, VB, etc.)

Hi mrorizabal,

First make sure that the correct version of Measurement Studio 2010 is activated. To check that open NI License Manager and expand the Measurement Studio 2010 section. Make sure the Professional Development version has a dark green activation box.

If you are still unable to see "National Instrument Analysis Professional" in the Add Reference window for a new Measurement Studio project then you might need to repair your Measurement Studio Installation:

1) Open Add or Remove Programs and choose National Instruments Software

2) Find NI Measurement Studio 2010 for VS2008 and press modify

3) Make sure Measurement Studio .NET 3.5 Language Support is enabled and installed

4) If it was already installed, go back to the National Instruments Software window and do repair of the NI Measurement Studio 2010 for VS2008 installation
