InstallShield installation - Error 2705

Hi, I am colleague of Chris W. who firstly created this post.

I write to inform that this incident is still happening with Installshield 2009 SP2. 

As reply to Jonathan request, I created a setup.exe that consists of a MSI Installscript project installing several MSM from Measurement Studio 8.1.1.

The same problem as original issue reported by Chris is still happening.

I failed to attach the setup.exe due to it's size, so I will attach the project and you can download Installshield 2009 Demo version from Installshield website to generate the setup.exe.

 Please, tell us any progress on this topic with Installshield.

Just wondering if someone found a fix for this error. I did have any issues when I used Installshield Express 11 but when I upgraded to InstallShield2009 I started to get this error. I also tried Wise Studio 7.0 I get the same error.

Unfortunately the same problem still exists with Installshield 2010 and Measurement Studio 8.6.1

I am also having the same problem as everyone else.

I am using VS 2010, Measurement Studio 2010, and InstallShield LE 2011.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been working around it by just forgetting the merge module, manually identifying the necessary NI DLLs and manually adding those as components to my InstallShield installation.

Same here, but I'm hoping NI will take a long, hard look at how measurement studio works with InstallShield and fix any remaining bugs.
