Installation of MS8.12 in VS2008 (only 2005 possible)

Hello

I want to install Measurement Studio 8.12 to Visual Studio2008.

The Problem is, that installer says that there is no VS2005 installed.

Is there a trick to install it with only VS2008 installed?

Refer to Using Measurement Studio 8.1.2 with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 KB. As a side note, Measurement Studio 8.5 and later fully supports Visual Studio 2008.

The Installation was successfull, but there are some Errors about the Licensing.

Error 2: Failed to perform action Licensing ...

this is at all componensts such as NationalInstruments.UI.WindowsForms

Hi Markus80,

You need to insert licensing yourself because 8.1.2 didn't fully support VS 2008. See the section "Using Measurement Studio 8.1.2 User Interface Controls and Analysis Libraries in Visual Studio 2008" in that link I sent earlier.

Hi Jonathan,

Now it works fine, but I don't really know why. I deinstalled the Measurementstudio after the Installation with the errors, then I reinstalled it and now it works.
