Did you mean:

My turn I guess. Unlicensed exception

I use VS2010 / C# with no problem.

I want to use C++/CLI on a project. This is where I get the unlicensed exception.

I have searched here and nothing helped.

Help?

Hey Wayne,

I have a few questions for clarity.

What version of Measurement Studio are you using?

When you say C++/CLI on a project, do you mean you are coding in one of these? From my understand, .Net languages are CLI so could you clarify?

Are you trying to use the C++?

What steps have you tried?

Is this existing code that you are trying to compile?

Which library is throwing the unlicensed exception?

Best,

Kurt

  • Measurement Studio 2013
  • CLI is .net, yes.
  • C++/CLI is a .net language. But yes, I'd like to use the C++ side of it
  • I've tried several things from doing searches on this forum and website (mostly dealing with the license file).
  • No, this is a new project.
  • The WinForms Scattergraph is throwing the exception

It works great in C#. But not in C++/CLI. Same programming environment (VS 2010).

Hey Wayne,

It looks like this is a known issue for Measurement Studio 2013 The number is 133384. The work around suggested is to refresh the .licx file, by selecting Measurement Studio»View .NET Class Library Wizard. In the Measurement Studio .NET Class Library Wizard dialog box, deselect the Measurement Studio libraries and close the dialog box. Run the Measurement Studio .NET Class Library Wizard again and select the Measurement Studio libraries.

Let us know if this works.

I saw that in another thread. There is no Measurement Studio»View .NET Class Library Wizard on my system.

This refers to the "Add/Remove .NET Class libraries Wizard". Within your project, try opening up that wizard and first removing the references to Measurement Studio libraries and then adding them back in through the Wizard.

The reason that the option to add/remove.NET Class Libraries is not in the menu is that you need to be inside of a Measurement Studio Project in order to have that option. Open up any example or solution and then try to select the option and it will appear.
