Hello,
I used SignalExpress to record a single-channel continous voltage signal and recorded it. Signal Express generated a TDMS file. I used Meassurement Studio's .NET example to read it and it outputs 7 channel groups. I have not been able to find documentation on what each of these channel groups are and why there is more than 1.

Hi Max,
When you log data in SignalExpress, the log automatically contains groups for decimated data. This is so that on display and playback of large data sets, SignalExpress can use the decimated data so that you do not suffer performance issues of loading large data sets into memory.
When working in other applications, the first group in the file will contain all the values stored and you can ignore the other groups.
Thanks,
Caroline
